The Cuckleburr Times

This week we feature a site called The Cuckleburr Times. Now before you go rushing off to visit the site let us tell you a little bit about what we like about The Cuckleburr Times and we do like this one!

First off the name. You just have to love it. What is a Cuckleburr anyway? I Googled this one and find that it’s a little sticky type of burr that easily sticks to your clothing when you walk through a patch of it. Apparently the cuckleburr is found a lot in the Southern parts of the United States. So with a name like The Cuckleburr Times curiosity had already gotten the better of us so we are reviewing the site.

General Audience. – The Cuckleburr Times provides a platform for authors and writers to be published online and features a wide array of article and short stories provided by these writers. Some of the articles you will find there are hilarious while others are more serious or geared towards self-improvement. The site is suitable for all audiences. Many of the articles are aimed particularly at authors and writers seeking ways to be even better at what they do.

Site Access – The Cuckleburr Times site is blog style using WordPress. The site loads fast and has little to no advertising that we could see. There are no pop windows asking you to register for anything. (A big plus in our opinion). For those who wish to submit articles they have a simple submit tab but also offer to accept submissions by email.

Overall Site – Very appealing and user-friendly layout and design with a good variety of quality articles with many written by professional and published authors.

Overall Review – We like The Cuckleburr Times and think you will too! Worth a visit.
